Born an Army brat and raised with a deep respect for the outdoors, I moved to the Western Slope of Colorado at age 10, where my family were ranching pioneers. That heritage shaped my values early, rooted in hard work, land stewardship, and the understanding that land isn’t just owned, it’s cared for. I grew up immersed in 4-H, FFA, and Boy Scouts—experiences that taught me responsibility, self-reliance, and a lifelong commitment to community. I went on to serve 14 years in the U.S. Army, both active and reserve, building the leadership and discipline that define how I serve my clients today.
After years of coming and going, I made Alaska my permanent home in 2012. I’ve never looked back. Alaska offered everything I was looking for: space, adventure, and the kind of freedom that still means something. Over the past decade, I’ve also served more than 12 years with Pack 123 and Troop 210, helping guide the next generation of Scouts as Cubmaster, Committee Chair, and mentor. But my roots in Alaska go beyond the backcountry. I believe strongly in giving back to the community that’s given me so much. I’m proud to be civic-minded and actively support local organizations, including Katie’s Handprint, a cause close to my heart that offers hope, resources, and financial assistance to Alaskan families facing pediatric cancer. Alaska’s strength lies not just in its land, but in its people, and I’m honored to be part of both.
What keeps me here is simple: I love the land. Alaska offers a lifestyle unlike anywhere else, with world-class fishing, hunting, and camping just minutes from home. Whether I’m deep in the wilderness or fly fishing a quiet riverbank, the outdoors fuels my spirit and keeps me grounded. As a real estate professional, I specialize in large land, remote lodges, and luxury homes. These are the kinds of properties that carry stories, heritage, and potential. To me, these aren’t just listings; they’re legacies. Each one deserves to be represented with authenticity, vision, and respect. I don’t just list properties. I listen to them. I learn what makes them special, what they offer, and who they’re right for. Whether it’s a fly-in fishing lodge, a generational homestead, or a luxury retreat off the grid, my goal is always the same: to match it with someone who sees more than acreage… they see meaning.
When people ask, “Why Alaska?” my answer is always the same: Everything is bigger, better, and no one lives here. And for the right kind of person, that’s not a drawback. It’s the dream.
